It's maple sugaring time, so it was only appropriate that we set out on an outing to Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve for their maple sugar celebration. With the trees awakening for spring, we got to watch a demonstration of traditional maple sugar making. The best part was sampling the results over ice cream. Mrs. Ellanor, along with the rest of us, couldn't get enough. Our trip was as delicious as it was informative!
