We’ve always said that the residents here at Liberty Nursing Center are a creative and talented bunch — and that creativity was on full display this Halloween! One of our crafty residents, Melissa, spent weeks making a festive pumpkin piñata to share with her fellow residents and neighbors. The results were even better than we could have imagined!
Dressed in her DIY Halloween costume, Melissa joined everyone in taking turns trying to break open the piñata to reach the goodies inside. It wasn’t all fun and games, though — it turns out it’s hard to find the strength to swing when you’re laughing so hard!
After plenty of laughter and many good swings, the piñata finally gave way, and everyone enjoyed some delicious treats.
We’re so grateful for Melissa’s generous spirit and creativity. She truly brought joy, laughter, and a wonderful sense of community to our Halloween celebration!
