We celebrated Thanksgiving this past Saturday with friends and family. The turnout was great for our Thanksgiving dinner. This was a good time for everyone who was able to share in the occasion with us. Thank you to the families for providing such a variety of delicious desserts to share. Hope to see you all again in a couple weeks for our Christmas party! Have a Happy Holiday!
Today residents enjoy making and eating a hearty beef chili. We had to use a couple of different ingredients than we were use too in chili like corn and salsa. Didn't matter, the chili turned out great and the residents really enjoyed it. Some came looking for seconds!
Trick-or-Treat night was a huge success thanks to all the staff and residents who helped out; and to all the children who came out to enjoy free candy. The residents had a wonderful time passing out candy and seeing all the different costumes that the children were wearing this year as they wondered our halls.
The sun was shining bright on this wonderful day. The tents were up and the tables were set. Families filled the seats. I think we may need to go a little bit bigger next year. Musical entertainment was provided this year by Matt Young. Jimmy T. Clown ventured throughout doing magic tricks and balloon art. The kitchen provided great food and the Activity department served it.

We would like to "Thank" the Community Band members that came to our facility last night, August 25, and performed for our residents. The resident really enjoy the music. We even had a few "movers & shakers" in the crowd. It was a good time for everyone. We are glad they came in to perform and look forward to having them back next year.
