We had a wonderful time celebrating Housekeeping Service Week here at Liberty Nursing Center of Mansfield! It was a joy to show our love and appreciation for our dedicated housekeeping staff. Like so many departments at Liberty, our housekeeping team goes above and beyond to enrich the lives of our residents. In addition to keeping our facility clean, safe, and welcoming, they are always ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Our residents especially enjoy their daily conversations with this amazing group, who make it a priority to get to know each resident and provide for them in meaningful ways. As part of the celebration, our housekeeping staff took part in a fun activity where they created something out of Play-Doh that represented who they are. The creativity was incredible—we saw spaghetti and meatballs, a heart, a cross, and even a lollipop, each reflecting the unique personalities that make up our department. The residents cast their votes, and Rebecca’s spaghetti and meatballs creation won first place! It was a great celebration, made even better by having such wonderful people to celebrate. We are truly grateful for our housekeeping team and the heart they bring to our Liberty family!

Our morning at Liberty Nursing Center of Mansfield started off like any other. Everyone was fresh, clean, and presentable…until the whipped cream came out! Our Activity Department teamed up with our amazing Ovation Therapy Department for a fun (and messy!) game of “Whip It and Catch It.” Residents and staff donned shower caps, had whipped cream sprayed on top, and got busy tossing cheese balls back and forth while trying to get them to stick. Between throws and catches, a few cheese balls may have disappeared as tasty snacks! We couldn’t have asked for a better day. The sun was shining, laughter was everywhere, and a little whipped cream only added to the joy. We are so grateful to our Therapy Department for partnering with us to create such a festive experience, and to our residents for their willingness to jump in and try something new. Our cheesy plans for the day were truly whipped into a wonderful memory for everyone!
