n May, we celebrated the lovely ladies of Liberty.

Upon admission to Liberty Nursing Center of Mansfield, Carolyn was unable to complete ADLs and functional tasks independently. Carolyn completed multiple therapeutic goals within first week of arrival, demonstrating safety and independent during stair navigation, dressing and toileting tasks with FWW for support. She was able to complete Home Safety Evaluation with efficiency and safety awareness. After completing therapy, Caryolyn was able to return home with no restrictions and able to confidently care for herself independently. Way to go, Carolyn!

Boy did we have a blast celebrating the wonderful ladies here at Liberty Nursing Center of Mansfield!  We celebrated those of us who are mothers and all the other women here who have loved, nurtured, and led by example throughout their lives.    The ladies on the memory care unit started the fun by making floral wreaths.  We enjoyed coming up with beautiful color combinations and reminiscing about flowers we have planted in the past, as well as all the Mother’s Day bouquets we have received over the years.  We talked about how our mothers “pieced” us together and made us whole (just as one would when doing a puzzle one piece at a time) with their loving and nurturing hearts and made a craft to display as we chatted. Later in the day, we enjoyed a “Ladies, You’re a Gem” themed Mother’s Day social for all the women.  After enjoying a meal together, all the ladies in attendance received a compact mirror to decorate with rhinestones.  Some of the bling ended up on other things as well! These ladies truly are gems! All of us here at Liberty feel privileged to be a part of their daily lives and appreciate the shining, gem-like uniqueness and beauty they bring to our facility.
